Essential Functions
These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions
- Synthesizes ionic liquids and other compounds as needed from appropriate starting materials.
- Analyzes synthesis products using techniques such as NMR, TGA, DSC, or other techniques as needed, to determine their composition and properties.
- Keeps accurate records of lab work in both paper and electronic form as needed.
- Assists with preparation of research publications, presentation, and reports.
- Maintains an organized and safe laboratory environment.
- Assists students and faculty with lab instrument use.
- Assists with lab chemical inventory and organization.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime hours as required.
- Related duties as required.
