Job DetailsResponsibilities:
1. Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance & accounting functions of the organization.
2. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory actions.
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
4. Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
5. Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation, and reporting to the Company.
6. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
7. Oversee the analysis of cost drivers and the identification of potential savings in COGS.
8. Collaborate with the logistics and manufacturing teams to optimize S&OP processes.
9. Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA highly preferred.
2. CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
4. Proven experience in the areas of manufacturing, logistics, COGS, and cost drivers.
5. Strong knowledge of S&OP processes.
6. Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
7. Significant experience in or knowledge of nonprofit accounting, including sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting.
8. Deep knowledge and understanding of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) rules and standards.
9. Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
10. Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
12. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and financial reporting software.
