We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Project Manager for a leading role in our dynamic construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial construction projects, including tenant improvements, office renovations, healthcare and life science construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of construction management, with a particular focus on leadership, team coordination, project management, and negotiation.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading and managing all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to ensure project plans and specifications are executed correctly.
3. Overseeing tenant improvement projects, office renovations, and commercial construction, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
4. Managing life science and/or healthcare construction projects, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Providing strong leadership to construction teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
6. Utilizing advanced project management skills to plan, organize, and control resources to achieve project objectives.
7. Negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the best possible terms and conditions for the company.
8. Implementing risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on commercial construction, tenant improvements, office renovations, life science and healthcare construction.
2. Proven leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing construction teams and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
3. Advanced project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and control resources to achieve project objectives.
4. Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven ability to negotiate contracts that deliver the best possible terms and conditions for the company.
5. A thorough understanding of construction management processes and best practices.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
7. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
