We are seeking a Security Analyst Intern to join our team of problem solvers! In this role, you'll find opportunities to pursue bold and creative approaches to help us improve the performance of data collection and refinement in innovative new ways. You'll be joining a group of hardworking security specialists who challenge themselves daily in addressing the evolving threats to the nation's defense.

In this internship, you will learn how our security professionals interpret ever evolving requirements, create applicable procedures, and most importantly, collect and refine data to ensure compliance. You will gain direct experience in how this data is collected, groomed, and reported on to all levels of staff and leadership. Throughout your internship, we will strive to balance your professional growth in the specific area of security to include both programmatic and facility focused perspectives.

You will help develop new procedures and learn to perform analysis associated in these technical areas:

Data collection and refinement
Enterprise reporting and communication
Security requirements and compliance

Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

Are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Security, or related fields
Have a passion for security and data
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
