Job Title:SHIPPING ASSISTANT
Job Location:Hartford
Shift: 1st Shift, 5:00AM - 3:30PM M-F
Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 / Hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Help to keep the work area clean and safe
- UPS Tasks, pulling parts for orders
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Loading flatbed trucks outside
- Scanning routers and creating packing slips from purchase orders
- Assist Shipping / Receiving Manager as needed
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Excellent attendance and work history
- Must be able to follow instructions and to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills are helpful - will train on various programs needed for this job
- Forklift experience preferred
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50lb regularly
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
