- B.S. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Biotech, Biology or Chemistry discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' work experience diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electromechanical and/or electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of NMR and MRI, analog electronics, high voltage circuitry/circuits, cryogenics, and ultra-high vacuum technology desirable.
- Strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation.
- Excellent customer focus with ability to reliably respond to inquiries, communicate and interact with Scientists that possess a Ph.D. (or Master's Degree) in Biochemistry, Biophysics or Microbiology.
- English fluency with strong oral, reading, written, MS Office, computer, technical data, and networking communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines within an entrepreneurial and customer-focused work environment.
- Ability to satisfactorily complete position compliance and training requirements
- Attend and actively participate in quarterly scientific technical training programs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., transport equipment and tools in excess of 300 lbs.
- This position requires lifting heavy objects and maneuvering large bulky items (examples: tools, mechanical pumps, rigging equipment, power supplies, field mapper).
- This position requires reasonable dexterity to perform manual functions in confined spaces.
- Proven ability to follow safety standards, practices, and codes.
- Position requires up to 70% travel.
- Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state, with reliable transportation.
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
- Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel.
- May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-timeposition is between $63,900 and $113,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and developwithin a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies,job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position.
