Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: School Services Duration: 15 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – (CCC) Position Details: Pay: Starting at $43/hr Hours: May vary based on location Schedules: May vary based on location Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology GA SLP License (GASOS) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Skills & Experience: Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy strategies, and behavior management Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines 1 year of supervised clinical experience Responsibilities: Evaluate and provide therapy for students with speech/language disorders Develop and implement IEP goals and track student progress Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with teachers and parents. Maintain records and ensure compliance with state/federal guidelines Supervise SLP assistants when assigned. Work Environment: - School-based setting with occasional travel. - Must handle interruptions and maintain emotional control under stress. - Total hours may vary (approx. 40 hours) - Pay range may vary based on years of experience.
