We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their expertise in labor law, specifically in areas such as collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, and union-related issues. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in representing our clients in a wide range of labor disputes, advising on labor law matters, and ensuring full compliance with the relevant legal standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
As a Labor Attorney, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Representing our clients in labor disputes, including but not limited to, unfair labor practice cases, collective bargaining negotiations, and arbitration hearings.
2. Providing expert legal advice to our clients on a wide range of labor law matters, including compliance with labor laws and regulations, labor relations, and labor contracts.
3. Conducting thorough research and analysis of legal issues related to labor law, and preparing detailed legal reports and memoranda.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating labor contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
5. Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals in the firm to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services to our clients.
6. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in labor law and adapting our legal strategies accordingly.
7. Conducting legal training and workshops for our clients on labor law matters.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Labor Attorney position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a labor attorney, specifically dealing with matters related to collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, and union-related issues.
4. Proven track record of representing clients in labor disputes and collective bargaining negotiations.
5. Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and other legal professionals.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
11. Proficiency in legal research software and other legal technologies.
