We are seeking an individual with 1-4 years of experience to help deliver traffic engineering projects across the state of Texas and beyond. How you’ll make an impact at M-B as an Engineering Technician: The candidate will perform engineering work in the field of transportation engineering. The work performed may include (but not be limited to) the following: CAD Design and Documentation: Develop engineering plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) using Microstation CAD software, including creating new CAD standard drawings and performing CAD drafting. Experience with Bentley Open Roads Design is a plus. Specialized Engineering Plans: Produce a variety of specialized plans including Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) , communication networks, roadway lighting, and comprehensive traffic planning (signals, timing, impact analyses, management, signing, and pavement marking). Data Analysis and Software Utilization: Conduct data collection and analysis, calculating quantities and presenting data using Excel and mapping with ARCGIS . Utilize specialized software such as AGi32 (photometric) and SignCAD (traffic sign design). Coordination and Compliance: Review all drawings for compliance with company CAD policies and coordinate with engineers and technical staff to ensure timely project needs are met, using standard office tools like Microsoft Office .
