Position Summary
Portland State University's Department of History invites applicants with expertise and experience to teach undergraduate courses in history. Preference in, though not limited to, core areas of American history.
Minimum Qualifications
M.A. in History.
Successful completion of a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in History.
Previous teaching experience at a community college or university.

CompensationAdjunct faculty are paid per credit hour, per the AFT Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary may be adjusted above the minimum rates based on qualifications and experience.
