Job Details
Position Summary
The Sheet Metal Welder fabricates, assembles, and welds sheet metal components for commercial and industrial projects. This role ensures all work meets quality, safety, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding and fabrication on sheet metal using MIG, TIG, and other welding processes
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal components accurately
Assemble components and ensure proper fit and alignment
Inspect welds and finished work for quality and compliance
Follow all safety protocols and company policies
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
Proven experience in sheet metal welding
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or other welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
Good communication and teamwork skills
