We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Sr. Mass Torts Litigation Associate to join our high-performing legal team. This role involves working on complex mass torts litigation cases, providing expert legal advice, and representing our clients with the highest level of professionalism. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in mass torts litigation, with a deep understanding of the legal landscape, and the ability to provide expert witness testimony. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the legal industry.
This role will requite the ability to think like a Trial Attorney from day one . You will be working closely with the Trial Attorney to find top doctors to tesify, taking Doctor and plaintiff depositions, and helping build a rock solid case.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of mass torts litigation cases, ensuring all are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Providing expert legal advice to clients, explaining complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Acting as an expert witness in court proceedings, confidently presenting evidence and arguments.
- Conducting thorough and detailed research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and agreements.
- Collaborating with other legal professionals to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to mass torts litigation.
- Representing the firm in a professional manner, upholding our reputation for excellence in mass torts litigation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mass torts litigation.
- Licensed to practice law in the state.
- Proven experience as an expert witness in court proceedings.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Proficient in legal research software and other related technologies.
