Position:Warehouse Operations Support Associate
Job Description:Arrow Electronics is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Warehouse Operations Support Associates to join our fast-paced electronics distribution center. As a
Warehouse Operations Support Associate, you will play a key role in the effective handling and processing of electronic component customer orders. You will work within a dynamic team to achieve the quality, efficiency, and service goals of the Primary Distribution Center.
This role operates Monday - Friday, with regular overtime required depending on business needs. Impeccable attendance is essential to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities- Support all departments, including receiving, storing, inventory, shipping, dispatch, and picking.
- Assist with inventory management and fill in as needed.
- Help with scheduling trucks and uploading orders to third-party partners.
- Provide support with ongoing team training and assist in the implementation of new processes and changes.
- Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to department-wide production & quality goals
- Identify areas for improvement and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and assist co-workers in developing their skills and identifying areas for improvement.
What We Are Looking For- Proficiency in safely operating facility material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, Box Truck, and pallet/wrapping equipment).
- Ability to perform end-user computer functions, including data entry and interpreting information from warehouse systems (e.g., RF units, computer terminals).
- Demonstrated ability to train and certify new hires and employees in all warehouse functions, including equipment operation.
- Effective support in scheduling trucks.
- This position involves standing and or walking for considerable lengths of time. Consistently bending to floor level and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Proficient Reading, writing, and understanding of English language
