Group/Division The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.
Job Description/Preferred QualificationsAs a Customer Support Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and insights into the daily responsibilities of engineers working in the semiconductor industry. This internship offers the opportunity to learn how complex inspection and metrology systems are maintained and supported in real-world settings.
During your internship, you will- perform preventive and corrective maintenance on highly complex semiconductor capital equipment.
- support troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of KLA equipment.
- coordinate actions with customers to ensure minimal impact on production.
- conduct log file analysis to identify potential systematic issues.
- propose and implement improvement ideas, including creating a structured project plan.

Minimum Qualifications- current enrollment at the university in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.

- ability to understand and adapt to complex technical processes.
- fluent communication skills in English, German is an advantage.
- strong sense of responsibility and collaborative mindset.
