Summary:The Building Technician III is a member of the Facilities team responsible for the peak performance of the healthcare facilitys most critical infrastructure. This role oversees the operation and high-level calibration of integrated utility systems, ensuring 100% uptime for life-safety and patient care environments. As the facilitys Subject Matter Expert (SME), the Level III Technician provides expert-level troubleshooting for complex failures while optimizing and integrating Building Automation Systems (BAS).
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of basic general maintenance experience.
- Will consider relevant education in lieu of a portion of work experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Windows environment.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
- Universal EPA 608 certification.
Hours:
- Tuesday through Saturday: 7:00am to 3:30 pm
Grandfather Clause: Employees previously established in the Building Technician job profile III who do not meet the updated educational or certification requirements listed above shall be deemed qualified for their current position based on equivalent professional experience. This status is specific to the current role and level; further advancement within the organizations technical track may require fulfillment of the updated qualification standards.
