We are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Durant, OK location.
Schedule: Four-day work week (four on, three off), 12-hour shifts
Pay: $20-$24 depending on experience
Heavy Equipment Operator Job Responsibilities
- Experience operating front end loaders, material handlers, haul trucks, or excavators preferred
- Conduct regular pre-op and post-op inspection before and after use
- Ensure equipment is safe and prepared for daily use
- Communicate any unsafe findings or equipment damage immediately to appropriate person
- Willing to learn how to operate multiple pieces of equipment
- Willing to train as needed
Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications
- Industry experience preferred: steel mill and/or construction
- Ability to work independently as well as with teammates
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Valid Driver's License
- Willing to learn different positions
- Willing to work night shift and weekends
