This position is for a Senior Software Test Engineer within the applications development group. The candidate will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, and system testing. The candidate should work well within a collaborative team and possess technical leadership abilities to oversee project testing activities.
Requirements:
Experience with QA methodologies (Test Plans, Negative Testing, Integration, Regression)
Proficiency in writing and testing code in Python and Java
Experience implementing web testing automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience with Object-Oriented design and patterns
Knowledge of Servlets, ORM/H2/Hibernate, JDBC
Familiarity with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, JSON/XML
Experience with JUnit, Postman, JavaScript testing, Spring testing, and mock frameworks
Knowledge of Databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL)
Experience debugging web applications (Firebug, etc.)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/Scumban)
Experience with version control tools (Git/SVN)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins, Nexus/Artifactory, Terraform, Chef)
Familiarity with Web Servers (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, IIS)
Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix administration (a plus)
Experience with Windows IIS and Nginx (a plus)
Agile Tester and/or Java Certification (a plus)
