WORKING FOREMAN / SUPERVISOR (Mech, Piping or Structural) Seeking Foreman / Supervisors to coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel

- Estimated 50-60 hr/s wk depending on workload
- Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
- Recruiting, hiring, training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors
- Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear.
- Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
- Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as construction foreman
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
- Understanding of structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and report effectively.
- Aptitude in math
- Problem-solving abilities
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Working environment can be varying weathering conditions, cold, hot, rain, muddy, dusty
- Work hours may include night shifts, weekends, holidays etc.
