Summary of Position: Works with General Manager and Assistant Manager to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
- Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
- Must have a minimum of one year of supervisory experience
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience
- Assist restaurant management team
- Maintain and enforce sanitation standards and procedures
- Experience with Micros POS system
- Must have the stamina to work a minimum of 55 hours a week
- Must be able to travel out of state for a 2 1/2 week training course
- Must have valid driver's license and be ServSafe & TABC certified
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Availability to work all shifts (open, mid, close)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Basic understanding of food and labor costs, cash handling procedures and company policies
- Personable, friendly and outgoing personality - must enjoy interacting with and servicing others
- Initiative, drive and a self-starting work ethic
- Superior customer service and people skills
- Ability to train, coach, and direct others
