The Encompass Group is partnering with a leading manufacturer in the building materials and construction products industry to hire a Territory Sales Manager. This individual will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth within an assigned territory through strategic account management, new business development, and strong customer relationships.
This is a remote role that requires approximately 75% travel throughout the assigned territory. Candidates must be based in either the Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA area. The ideal candidate enjoys being in the field, building relationships face-to-face, conducting job site visits, and working directly with customers across construction, roofing, and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities
Drive territory revenue growth and achieve annual sales targets
Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans
Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within construction, roofing, and industrial markets
Manage and grow existing key accounts within the territory
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM activity
Conduct job site visits, client presentations, and product demonstrations
Build long-term relationships with contractors, distributors, roofing companies, and builders
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and pricing within the territory
Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, operations, customer service, and marketing teams
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings
Educate clients on product applications, specifications, and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
8–12+ years of sales experience within manufacturing, construction, or related industries
Strong understanding of B2B and channel sales models
Proven ability to develop new business and manage key accounts
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within spray foam insulation, chemicals, or building materials
Knowledge of residential and commercial construction markets
MBA or advanced business degree preferred
Power BI experience is a plus
Strategic territory planning
Sales analytics and CRM proficiency
