Position Overview
The Identity Services & API Support Analyst I will provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our customers and internal teams for identity services (OneLogin), APIs, and related integrations. Expertise in identity management, single sign-on, security assertion markup language, and application programming interfaces is instrumental in ensuring seamless operations and integrations.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for identity services, APIs, and related integrations.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and internal teams regarding support queries.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operations.
Gain and maintain necessary knowledge of identity services, single sign‑on, SAML, and APIs.
Consult and support on the design, implementation, and configuration of identity services and API solutions.
Consult on the configuration of B2B API integrations between Paylocity and external ERP and other systems.
Create and update technical documentation, user guides, and troubleshooting resources as needed.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required.
At least two years' experience supporting at least one of the following technologies: Identity management, SSO, SAML, or AP.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, can explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Knowledge of APIs.
Knowledge of data interface functional space.
Knowledge of FTP/SFTP.
Knowledge of JSON data format.
Knowledge of EDI/XML file security preferred.
Additional Preferred Experience / Qualifications
Understanding of identity management concepts and protocols such as LDAP, OAuth, and OpenID Connect is a plus.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to identity services (OneLogin) and API integrations is a plus.
Knowledge of General Ledger payroll accounting, Payroll, HR, or ERP systems is considered a plus.
Familiarity with programming concepts is a plus.
Introductory SQL knowledge a plus.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, SAML Certified Engineer) are a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods (7‑8 hours a day).
Use of computer and phone systems, operating multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

The base pay range for this position is $41,000 - $66,300 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Applicants should apply via www.paylocity.com/careers.
