This contract position plays a key role in producing high-quality printed materials used for events, communications, and day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate brings prior print shop experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and reliability. Job Description The Printing and Bindery Associate will provide hands-on support for internal printing operations, assisting with the production and finishing of a variety of materials including booklets, binders, brochures, and other collateral. This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain consistent quality standards across all deliverables. Key responsibilities include:
- Producing printed materials such as booklets, binders, brochures, and business collateral
- Performing bindery and finishing tasks including collating, cutting, folding, stapling, and binding
- Preparing materials for events, internal mailings, and company-wide distribution
- Monitoring print quality and ensuring all jobs meet established standards and timelines
- Managing multiple print requests in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
- Assisting with packing, mailing, and delivery of printed materials as needed
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient print shop workspace
- Providing additional support to print operations as assigned
- Role may require standing for extended periods and lifting light to moderate materials
Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a print shop, copy center, or similar production environment
- Familiarity with printing equipment and basic bindery/finishing processes
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to shifting priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting events or high-volume mailings
- Flexibility to work varying hours during peak production periods
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities to support business needs
