$170,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
OVERVIEW
At Orion, we are seeking a Solution Architect with deep expertise in clinical imaging technologies, specifically in radiology. This opportunity focuses on designing and integrating imaging systems within a Bosco environment, ensuringandir-able scalability, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly technical with regards to Change Radiology PACS, virtual servers and archive migrations. The role will help define installation requirements and manage dependencies across multiple technologies and integration touchpoints with EMRs and image transmission systems.
OPPORTUNITY
12-month contract-to-hire; fully remote with limited travel (U.S. – Central Time Zone).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
High‑Level Design: Develop architecture and design for new initiatives, including application‑level dependencies, configurations, and installation requirements.
Integration: Partner with infrastructure and integration teams to define installation types and critical hardware dependencies.
System Architecture: Apply enterprise architecture principles (TOGAF preferred) to integrate PACS, CPACS, and other imaging systems.
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot escalated issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with vendors, internal CI teams, and clinical staff; strong communication and organizational skills required.
Technology Versatility: Adapt to multiple imaging technologies and product suites as needed.
KEY EXPERIENCE
Clinical Imaging Expertise: Experience with Radiology PACS is essential.
Expertise with Change Healthcare PACS/CPACS (a must for this role), Powerscribe 360, RapidAI.
Radiology and Cardiology: Strong experience in these domains is required.
Healthcare Environment: Prior experience in hospital or clinic settings.
Enterprise Architecture: Strong understanding of integrated systems, scalability, security, and compliance. TOGAF certification is preferred but not required.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to navigate large organizations.
Education: High school diploma/GED with 5 years of experience, or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree Zy.
Minimum 5 years of experience required; 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
Industry Experience: Healthcare provider experience required.
Quick turnaround: preliminary interview followed by team interview.
