Position Summary
Title: Account Executive – MSWarehouse
Reports to: Vice President, Business Development
Primary focus will be on new sales for our warehouse management solution, an economical and easy to use tool to help companies manage their small to medium‑sized warehouses. Working primarily with new territories, you will use your business development skills and industry knowledge to identify new prospects and create sales opportunities. With the assistance of our Technical Sales Specialist, you will then manage the sales cycle with each prospect through the proposal and contracting up to and including closing the business. Your daily focus will be on lead generation, with less than 25% of your time on proposals and contracting. You are relentless in your pursuit of a connection with the prospect and diligent in your planning and documentation of your activities.
Key Responsibilities
Drive results through high‑volume prospecting activities via phone and email to build and maintain a funnel of future business opportunities.
Plan and manage new client outreach campaigns to ensure all leads are contacted at the appropriate cadence and with appropriate messaging.
Develop call and messaging scripts for client prospecting.
Evaluate potential customers to determine how our products can best serve them and to identify the most effective sales approach for each prospect.
Develop proposals and conduct client sales presentations with the support of our Technical Sales Specialist.
Negotiate and close new business agreements.
Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, opportunities, contracts, and activities.
Work with the EWS / Cora team on marketing initiatives to generate leads.
Attend industry conferences, meetings, and events to expand knowledge and build your prospect funnel.
Monitor your sales goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Manage expectations, set realistic goals, and deliver results for internal and external stakeholders.
Prioritize and manage time effectively to maximize productivity.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Warehousing industry with a solid understanding of financial metrics and business drivers.
Proven track record of success in high‑volume business development activities, with a history of cold outreach and sales conversion and a record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Strong record of success in sales, business development, and new business acquisition.
Demonstrated ability to increase revenue through effective lead generation.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with competing priorities.
Exceptional interpersonal skills—able to build genuine connections from skilled labor to C‑suite executives.
Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
Socially adept, flexible, and hands‑on.
Energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic with a high attention to detail.
