OverviewNOT REMOTE The boutique and well established law firm of Rad Law Group, A Professional Law Corporation seeks a self-motivated experienced Civil, Personal Injury, and Family Law Paralegal with at least three-five years experience to join our team at our San Jose office. The candidate's background in Civil, Personal Injury, and Family Law experience is desirable. Experience in discovery drafting and responding, meet and confer letters and motions to compel. This is a full time position with a competitive compensation package.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate effectively and promptly with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other legal professionalsTrial preparation, exhibits, trial bindersOrganizing case files and maintaining case listsDrafting pleadings, motions, judicial council forms and other standard legal documents including all discovery documentsResponding to discovery requests and managing as well as organizing all discovery materialsComply with established discovery processes and proceduresLiaison with outside counsel for discovery, trial and deposition preparationsDatabase researchKnowledge of legal procedures and substantive areas of law, particularly in the discovery process in civil litigationFiling pleadings with various courtsQualificationsExperience in handling highly confidential mattersAbility to adhere to strict time deadlinesStrong attention to detailExceptional organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Products, Outlook and document management softwareExcellent time management skills, strong research and writing skillsBachelor's Degree and/or successful completion of an ABA approved program or successful completion of certified paralegal is preferred but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills; researching/problem-solving skillsAbility to multitaskCompensation & Benefits$30-$40/HourlySalary will be commensurate with experience and skillsBenefits Offered: Dental, Vision, Medical; Paid legal holidays, PTO, Paid Sick LeaveLocationRad Law Group, APLC 940 Saratoga Avenue Suite 260 San Jose, CA 95129Application InstructionsOnly applicants with experience will be considered.
