Created/Revised Date: May 13, 2026 Anticipated Closing Date: May 31, 2026 Job Title: Litigation Attorney Location: Irvine, CA Salary Pay Range and Other Compensation: $135,000 - $225,000 annually (DOE) + Benefits Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire FLSA Status: Exempt Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm; Hybrid after training About the Role: This position is responsible for handling commercial and mobile home unlawful detainer matters, including trial work, as well as advising on pre-litigation residential and commercial landlord-tenant disputes. The role requires strong client interaction, the ability to manage a high-volume caseload, and a commitment to delivering effective legal representation in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation to clients, evaluating case facts and advising on landlord-tenant matters
- Review documents and guide clients through the eviction process
- Conduct client consultations via phone, email, and video conferencing
- Draft legal correspondence, including notices and letters
- Handle unlawful detainer cases through trial as needed
- Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Appear in court throughout Southern California
- Collaborate with internal teams and support practice group initiatives
- Complete additional assignments and project-based work as needed
- Meet an annual billable requirement of 1600 hours
Qualifications:
- J.D. and active California Bar license
- Minimum 5+ years of civil litigation experience
- Working knowledge of landlord-tenant law preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Trial experience
- Experience in the rental housing industry
- Familiarity with Lexis, Westlaw, and case or document management systems
