The Continuous Improvement Engineer III role leads enterprise-wide initiatives that transform customer operations and drive strategic growth. This senior-level role is responsible for architecting complex solutions, influencing executive stakeholders, leading strategic and continuous improvement projects and mentoring a high-performing team of engineers and sales professionals.
- Strategic Solution Design: Lead the development of enterprise-level solutions that integrate packaging automation, process optimization, and supply chain innovation to deliver transformative results for customers.
- Executive Engagement: Act as a senior consultant to C-suite executives, presenting high-impact strategies and influencing long-term operational decisions.
- Innovation Leadership: Identify emerging technologies and industry trends to proactively develop new solution offerings and drive continuous improvement across customer engagements.
- Program Ownership: Design and oversee large-scale programs that span multiple regions and business units, ensuring alignment with customer goals and internal capabilities.
- Mentorship & Development: Serve as a technical mentor and thought leader for Level I and II Engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Product Development teams to ensure seamless execution of complex solutions.
- Performance Analytics: Establish advanced metrics and dashboards to track project ROI, customer satisfaction, and solution adoption. Use insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of related experience in customer or supplier facing engineering, process improvement, or consultative sales roles.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading Lean Six Sigma projects.
- Proven success in leading enterprise-level projects with multimillion-dollar impact.
- Deep expertise in packaging equipment or automation systems preferred
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
- Expected travel is up to 50% nationally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management certification (CAPM or PMP).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- Experience with packaging equipment or automation technologies.
