Third Shift Bakery Team Member
The Bavarian Inn Restaurant is looking to add new faces to our awesome third shift bakery team! We are a high volume, from scratch production bakery providing over 250,000 loaves of bread each year for use in our bakeshop and dining rooms. Our third shift bread production team is responsible for the assembling, scaling, and baking of fresh ingredients used in the production of rye, white, stollen, and various other artisanal breads. General knowledge and prior professional experience working with various dough types is required. Prior work history in high volume production bakery setting is a plus but not required.
Wage: Starting at $16 per hour
Part-Time; average of 15-35 hours per week, depending on season
Shift Times: Typically, 10pm-5am, but may have some variation based on production needs
Bakery is open 7 days per week, 365 days per year; weekend & holiday availability required
1 year+ experience with professional baking
Must be able to stand/walk for 8+ hours (duration of shift)
Must be able to perform continual light to moderate lifting, up to 50 pounds
Must be able to tolerate high heat from ovens (putting product in/out)
Strong math skills required to recalculate recipes based on production needs
