Programs include inpatient interventions, jail-based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric services are coordinated with the total system of care in Louisiana ELMHS is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team in our housekeeping department. Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work. - Assign duties and responsibilities to subordinate Custodian staff located in various units of ELMHS.
- Provide oversight and support to ensure that duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with ELMHS policies, procedures and protocols.
- Provide unit-specific orientation and competency assessment for subordinate Custodian Staff
- Inspect assigned buildings to assure compliance with assigned duties. Utilizes the Continuous Performance Management system to document subordinate custodial staff performance.
- Oversee procedures for subordinate staff in the cleaning, disinfection, and sanitation of areas in which body fluids are present.
- Verify the proper disposal of bio-hazardous waste. Reports all safety hazards in a timely manner.
- Conducts random inspections of Custodial Services equipment to ensure functionality and safety
