Equipment Controls Technician
Looking for a role where you can stay active and make an immediate impact? CBRE is seeking a hands-on Equipment Controls Maintenance Technician to support operations at an industrial manufacturing facility in York, PA. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing automated production and material handling equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
2:00pm to 10:30pm Monday through Friday
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair automated production and material handling equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial systems and production equipment
- Support PLC-controlled equipment and diagnose operational faults
- Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, relays, sensors, photo eyes, conveyors, and control components
- Support packaging and automated production line equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic
- Respond to equipment downtime and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain safe work practices and follow OSHA and site safety requirements
- Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment issues effectively
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to support facility uptime and reliability
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver's License, required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
