Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail and an ability to work with a microscope to manipulate and assemble small electrical and mechanical components which are elements of complicated devices.
- Experience hand soldering SMT, thru-hole and fine gauge wire (32 gauge or smaller) or an equivalent technical skill is preferred - precision modeling or assembly of delicate miniature components may be an acceptable substitute.
- Ability to follow and understand assembly procedures, circuit schematics and wiring diagrams.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Associates degree in Engineering, Physics or related , with 2 years of experience or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or related, with no experience
At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $37,350 and $66,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
