Locum Tenens Urologist Opportunity Near Minot, ND We are currently seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position near Minot, ND. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive urology services in both a clinic and call setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with TRUS biopsies and cystoscopies and should be comfortable working with a team of RNs and LPNs in a dynamic environment. Support Staff : 2 Registered Nurses (RNs) 1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities: Clinic Duties : Manage an average of 1-3 patients daily Perform 5 in-clinic procedures per day Handle up to 30 scheduled patients daily Call Duties : Provide weekend call coverage on a rotational basis Respond to emergent surgical needs Manage 1-3 stone cases as needed Procedures : Perform TRUS biopsies of the prostate Conduct cystoscopies and dilation procedures Surgeries : Primarily focus on emergent cases Typically handle 4 scheduled surgeries on designated surgery days Requirements: Certification : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology State License : Active North Dakota state license required EMR : Experience with EPIC is preferred Experience : Proven ability to perform prostate biopsies with an RN Proficiency in cystoscopy without an ultrasound tech on site Additional Information: Reason for Coverage : This coverage is needed due to the absence of a permanent provider on staff.
