Spectra Tech, Inc. is hiring for a Structural Engineer (Sr. & Jr.) in Greenville, SC.
Structural Engineer (Sr.)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct construction document reviews as required
- Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects
- Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to:
- Seismic and wind analyses
- Foundation design
- Structural framing analyses and design
- Bracing analyses and design
- Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is required
- Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required
Basic Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience (nuclear preferred) in:
- Design
- Estimating
- Specification preparation
- Construction document preparation
- Related phases of engineering
- Field inspection of construction projects
- Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred, but not required
