Essential Responsibilities

Prepare and make charges according to established guidelines and instructions.
Accurately weigh and measure raw materials and remelt using scales
Maintain proper documentation and records associated with charge maker.
Operate forklifts and transfer charges to the appropriate melting stations.
Adhere to production and quality standards to ensure consistent output.
Troubleshoot and resolve any problems that occur during the charge-making process.
Collaborate with the foundry foreperson/lead person to meet production goals.
Participate in cross-training initiatives to acquire additional skills in other positions or departments.

Qualifications and Experience

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring repetitive motions, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
