Facility in Williamsport, PA seeking Vascular Surgery locums coverage Rates: $3700/24 hours Opportunity Highlights - Start Date: June 1, 2026.
- Schedule: 2 weeks per month; 24-hour call blocks (Monday Monday, 8:00 AM 8:00 AM).
- Setting: Inpatient Hospital, OR, and IR Labs (No clinic).
- EMR: Epic.
Clinical Scope & Volume The surgeon will manage a high-acuity vascular patient population and must be prepared for a 30-minute emergency response time.
- Typical Day: Rounding (8:00 AM 11:00 AM), consults, discharges, and inpatient procedures.
- Volume: Cases: 2 6 procedures per day.
- Consults: 4 15 per day.
- Admissions: 1 3 while on call.
- Procedures: Open and endovascular surgical procedures.
- Specialty Support: On-site access to Cardiac, Neuro, IR, Trauma, EP, and Interventional Cardio.
- Patient Mix: 95% Adult / 5% Pediatric (Peds is rare).
Provider Requirements - Board Status: Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (Required).
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) Medical License in hand (Required). IMLC is not considered for this role.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship experience.
- Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS.
- DEA: Required.
Credentialing Information - Timeframe: 60 days to privilege.
