Job description:
Mandatory skills:
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in GOSU, Java, JavaScript, and SQL is essential for developing and configuring Guidewire applications.
- Guidewire Platform: A deep understanding of Guidewire's architecture, components, and APIs is crucial for customizing and integrating solutions.
- Insurance Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance concepts, processes, and regulations is beneficial for understanding business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: The ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues is vital for troubleshooting and maintaining Guidewire products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter integrations with external systems including rating engines, payment gateways, document services, and core platforms
- Implement and configure SOAP/REST APIs, Messaging infrastructure (Kafka, JMS), and integration plugins
- Lead the architecture and design of new integration flows, including data mapping and error handling strategies
- Develop custom plugins for pre/post submission logic, policy lifecycle events, and claim/policy sync
- Guide and mentor development teams on integration best practices and performance tuning
- Support end-to-end testing, debugging, and issue resolution across environments
- Collaborate with BAs, QA, CloudOps, and DevOps teams to ensure successful deployments and monitoring
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $116,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $171,000 per year

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate's pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
