Responsibilities include assisting with Benefits Administration, Employee Verifications, I-9 approval and record-keeping, FMLA Administration, Company Newsletter, and New Hire and Orientation preparation. Maintain various spreadsheets, including veterans, disability, promotions, hires, terminations, and EEO Tracker. Will assist in recruiting, calling candidates, and scheduling interviews. Strong computer and research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of management and staff. Compile and organize all required employee hiring forms, including maintaining accurate and current files. Send the offer letter and pre-employment instructions to the driver candidates to be hired. Prepare and compile copies of all company policies, work rules, handbooks, labor agreements (if applicable), benefits forms, and necessary employment forms for newly hired employees. Responsible for daily mail pick-up and distribution. Mail must be distributed and/or processed in a timely fashion. Mailing materials (stamps, UPS, etc.) will be organized and ordered on an as-needed basis. Assist with federal and state Human Resources audits and reports. Respond to surveys as required. Process employee verifications utilizing time-sensitive and confidential methods Assist with unemployment compensation matters as required.
