LocationThis position is remote and open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.About the role you're consideringWe are seeking a skilled Software Change Management (SCM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support application migration projects utilizing client's DBB/Git/IDD Solutions. The SME will play a key role in guiding clients through the Endevor (and other SCMs) DBB/GIT/IDD conversion process, providing technical expertise, hands-on migration support, and training delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong z/OS and mainframe background, experience in application development or system programming, and proven customer interfacing and troubleshooting skills within migration environments.Your roleLead and support Endevor (and other SCMs) DBB/GIT/IDD migration projects.Perform installation, configuration, and problem determination for DBB/GIT/IDD on customer systems.Analyze, convert, and validate Endevor applications.Provide technical support and troubleshooting DBB/GIT/IDD related issues.Conduct customer training sessions and develop presentation materials for DBB/Git/IDD and migration processes.Collaborate with client teams and its stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Document migration processes, best practices, and technical resolutions.Your skills and experience8+ years as a Systems Programmer or other similar position.Proven 5-7 years of installation and migration experience on IBM z/OS.4+ years customer-facing consulting experience.Solid problem determination and troubleshooting ability related to IMU.Groovy Scripts writer.YAML.GIT experience.Repos.Pipeline – ability to debug what pipeline/builds failed.Branching.Training & Knowledge Transfer.Ability to conduct DBB/Git/IDD training sessions.Strong Application Development or System Programmer background.Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations using Microsoft Word and other standard tools.Ability to assist clients in diagnosing and fixing conversion-related errors.Excellent customer interfacing and communication skills.Nice to haveDevelopment, application lifecycle or change management experience.Hands-on experience in mainframe modernization, SCM, DBB/GIT/IDD.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a global team.CompensationThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911–$161,544.Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
