Applications / Systems Engineer
Salary: $130k-$185k
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
My client is looking for an Applications Engineer supporting the development of advanced power management solutions using automated mixed-signal analogue IC technology. You will work closely with product IC design teams across consumer, automotive, industrial, and data systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support IC design and product definition for DC/DC converters, battery management, and point of board regulators, including SIMPLIS model validation, datasheet development and demo board documentation
- Develop, evaluate and troubleshoot evaluation boards for power management products to validate performance
Qualifications
- MSEE in electrical engineering, ideally on power electronics
- Exposure to stimulation tools such as SIMPLIS, LTspice, PSpice, or MATLAB/Simulink
- Academic or internship experience in power electronics design, with knowledge of switching regulators, MOSFETs, and passive components
