The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Develop CNC programs for complex multi-axis milling operations
Select tooling, cutting strategies, and toolpaths using CAD/CAM software
Validate programs using simulation software (Vericut)
Create tooling lists, setup sheets, and process documentation
Analyze and troubleshoot machining issues on the production floor
Optimize programs and setup times for continuous improvement
Modify existing programs and processes as needed
Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality teams
Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
Maintain organized work areas using 6S practices

What We’re Looking ForRequired
High school diploma or GED
Strong multi-axis CNC milling programming experience
Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T
Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining processes
Understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards and specifications
Experience selecting or designing tooling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred
Associate degree or higher in a related field
CAD/CAM experience with Siemens NX
Processing or manufacturing engineering experience
Knowledge of outsource processes (plating, surface treatments, heat treat)
Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments
