School Nurse Opportunity
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate school nurse committed to making a meaningful impact. This position in the Tampa, Florida area offers a consistent 37.5-hour schedule over five days per week.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse license
- 2 years of Licensed Practical Nurse experience
- School-based experience is strongly preferred, but not mandatory
- CPR certified
Responsibilities
- Provide diabetic monitoring and ongoing diabetes management for students
- Implement seizure precautions and follow emergency response procedures as needed
- Deliver first aid, emergency response, and triage care in the school setting
- Administer medications in accordance with student health plans and school protocols
- Provide G-tube care and feeding support for students with medical needs
- Perform ventilator and tracheostomy care, including suctioning as required
