MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Springfield, VA.In this role, you will play a vital part in protecting mission-critical systems by identifying, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment. You will provide hands-on technical support, incident response leadership, and advanced analytical capabilities to ensure continuous mission success.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing leadership and advanced Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) support, managing cyber and network sensor activitiesPerforming security event and incident correlation using information gathered from multiple enterprise sourcesConducting cyber incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and potential impact while identifying vulnerabilities and recommending timely remediationTracking cyber incidents from initial detection through final resolution and analyzing potential damage to data and infrastructurePerforming cyber engineering trend analysis, producing detailed reports, and supporting 24x7 mission operationsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous monitoring and response readinessMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of additional cyber experience in lieu of a degree5+ years of cyber security experience in incident response and/or malware detectionActive IAT Level II certification (such as GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)Experience with Windows and Linux operating systemsWorking knowledge of current COTS Cybersecurity technologies and familiarity with database and operating system security conceptsUnderstanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocolsPreferred Qualifications:Active CNDSP-IR certification (such as GCIH, CSIH, or CEH)Experience working within a Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) environmentExperience with COTS technologies used in Cybersecurity Engineering environmentsClearance Requirements:An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
