Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and lead a team of skilled trades professionals on the night shift. This is a two-year contract position, offering an excellent opportunity for someone nearing retirement or seeking a short-term, high-impact role. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in maintenance and production environments. Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Develop, coach, and mentor a team of skilled trades professionals.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor and oversee the ticketing system to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Preventive Maintenance: Ensure timely completion of PM projects according to the schedule.
- Troubleshooting: Support equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed shift reports on equipment status, downtime, and other relevant metrics.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of recent experience in maintenance or production supervision.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work the night shift long-term.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with ERP and/or CMMS systems.
- Skilled trades background.
- PLC and/or robotics experience.
