Job Duties
This position is responsible for performing the daily functions of the transfer station and other county waste sites, such as demolition, MSW, recycling, brush/compost recycling and recycling of various hazardous materials.
Minimum Education Required
High school diploma or GED and two to four (2-4) years' operating heavy equipment or an equivalent
combination of education/training/experience.
Minimum Experience Required
Class B MN Driver's license.
MPCA-Certified Demolition/Industrial Waste Landfill Operator (Type III).
Hazardous waste certification.
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
