Description
What You'll Do:
· Inventory control, cycle counting, and overall material management.
· All shipping and receiving duties, including documentation, bills of landing, etc.
· Perform visual quality checks
· Operate and monitor equipment such as forklifts, powered hand tools, and overhead cranes.
· Perform general manual labor tasks including lifting, pulling, carrying, sweeping, cleaning, and moving materials.
· Keep management and supervisors aware of product shortages to maintain accurate information
· Organize inventory within the warehouse by properly boxing and storing goods in their designated location
· Ability to lift
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Minimum of 2 years' experience with inventory MRP systems, Excel, Word, Email.
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial warehouse environment.
· Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other mobile/heavy equipment is preferred but not required.
· Ability to read or learn to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and verify dimensional requirements.
· 2 years' Inventory control and cycle counting experience
· Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required for material calculations.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong dependability and attendance.
