Job Description Job Summary:
The CT/XRAYARRT is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in CT and X-ray modalities, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. The role includes operating advanced imaging equipment, assisting in pain management cases, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures following established protocols.
- Operate a Siemens Somatom Perspective 64 slice scanner with proficiency.
- Assist with C-arm procedures, particularly in OR settings, including pain management cases.
- Provide patient care, including positioning and ensuring patient safety during imaging.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, covering evenings and weekends as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in CT and Radiography.
- Proven experience in operating CT scanners and X-ray equipment.
- Ability to run a C-arm, preferably with OR or pain management experience.
- Strong understanding of patient safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Flexibility to work evening, night, and weekend shifts.
