As a Procurement/Inventory Specialist, youwillbe responsible forthe maintenance and reconciliation of the Automated Inventory and Purchase Requisition System as well as Inventory Control. This consists of planning, monitoring, and follow-up of open orders to ensureoptimalinventory levels. You wouldassistin the development and maintenance of departmental databases. Input packing slips to ensure timeliness of invoice processing.

Standard Schedule:Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM
Pay Information: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Prior experience with personal computers,includingExcel, Access,Word,or Oracle.
The duties are representative of the essential functions of the position. Operational flexibility isrequiredto meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Available to work overtime, other shifts, early mornings, evenings,holidaysand weekends. Requires standing, stretching,stooping,and bending for extended time periods. Lift, pull,pushand move objects of up to 50 pounds. May work in walk-in refrigerator/freezers for periods of time. Work under pressure and within time standards. Required to wear protective clothing such as lab coats, gloves, face shields, etc. when there is exposure to blood and blood products and/or where work location requires.
