A large regional bank is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and support secure, scalable applications that power banking and financial services capabilities. This role leverages AI-assisted development tools throughout the software lifecycle and requires strong full-stack engineering expertise.
Location: Florham Park, NJ (4 days/week)
Salary
Up to $105/hour, up to $180k base after 6 months if it converts to full-time (goal is conversion to full-time after 6 months

Responsibilities:
- Use AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot to accelerate design, development, testing, and documentation
- Design and develop modern web applications using React, Angular, or similar frameworks
- Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services using .NET OR Python
- Lead solution design, development, deployment, monitoring, and production support activities
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud-based solutions
- Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related
- 7+ years of software development experience, including full-stack application development
- Strong experience with .NET OR Python, REST APIs, microservices, and modern frontend frameworks
- Experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and G
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native development
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in a professional environment
- Financial services, banking, payments, or other regulated industry experience preferred
