Description Westaff is hiring for Forklift Operator and General Labor in Eastford, CT! Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 Pay Rate: $17 - $20 an hour Responsibilities: Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload pallets and materials. Hand-sort pallets, boxes, bins, and other materials as needed. Stack, secure, and transport materials throughout the facility. Follow instructions for staging, sorting, and quality checks. Assist with loading/unloading trailers and moving materials by hand. Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Support production and warehouse teams with additional tasks as assigned. Requirements:
- Ability to read and follow instructions and maintain records.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs and stand, bend, walk, and pivot for full shifts.
- Good math, reading, and communication skills.
- Forklift certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
- PPE required (steel toe boots).
