Forklift Operator – Day Shift
Location: Houston, TX Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse and yard while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse/yard environment
- Load and unload trucks with pipe and steel materials
- Move inventory to designated storage areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory handling and material organization
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in an industrial environment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Team-oriented with a positive work ethic
